Our Mission
At Rising From Shadows Foundation, we empower survivors of child abuse and neglect by providing resources, mentoring, advocacy, and referrals, while fostering a resilient community founded on Hope, Healing and Transformation.
Our immediate goal is to raise funds and find donations to secure 25-40 acres of land, where we will build a 98-bed residential facility. This facility will offer 8 cottages of 12 beds each (4 male, 4 female) to house short- and long-term stays; a separate building for at-risk teens (a safe place to come instead of the streets), a building for classrooms, therapy offices and meeting space. We plan a small working farm and garden to give residents a place to learn skills. A Christian chapel will provide spiritual and religious education.
