Meetings with Ohio lawmakers
It all begins with the lawmakers. So, I reached out to 30 of Ohio’s representatives, asking them to discuss sponsoring, co-sponsoring and/or supporting a Bill to change Ohio’s current laws. I will track the responses, meetings and outcome here.
Representative Odioso recognizes the seriousness of the issues raised and the impact that statutes of limitations can have on survivors seeking justice. At this time, however, the Representative will be unable to sponsor legislation on this matter.

Thank you for reaching out. I think you will be happy to know that Rep. Synenberg is currently working on drafting legislation for this with another democratic member of the General Assembly. We are hoping to get the bill introduced sometime this fall.
